Freiburg is a city in Germany with a very vibrant arts scene. Every year, it plays host to Murat Coskun‘s international frame drum festival, Tamburi Mundi. Top frame drummers from around the world make their way there every summer, putting on shows and workshops, and if you have so much as a passing interest in percussion, it’s an absolute must-see.
As a quick side note, Freiburg is officially named Freiburg im Breisgau. This should be mentioned because it is very easy to confuse it with another city in Germany with a very similar name, Freiberg.
