“Here Come the Judge” is a 1968 single by Pigmeat Markham. Released on Chess Records in 1968, it featured a young Minnie Ripperton (credited as Andrea Davis), and future Earth, Wind & Fire legend Maurice White on drum set.
Over a decade before the Fatback Band released “King Tim III (Personality Jock)“, and the subsequent Sugarhill Gang release “Rappers Delight“, Pigmeat’s (mostly) monotone delivery, boastful rhymes and strong, catchy beat is sometimes credited as the first hip-hop song, or at least the prototype for it.
